Hip-Hop Lager is a flexible yeast, ideal for standardising production in the brewery.
Originally developed for Lager production, it creates an ideal balance between esters and higher alcohols, including for Ales fermented at over 20°C.
Hip-Hop yeast ferments across a wide temperature range:
• From 12 to 15 degrees: produces rounded, neutral-profile beers like Berliner.
• From 15 to 17 degrees: suitable for Altbier, Kölsch, and Steam Beer.
• From 18 to 22 degrees: perfectly accommodates beers with dry hopping (IPA, NEIPA).
Its neutral profile: makes it suitable for Export-style beers.
Depending on the fermentation degree: Altbier, Kölsch, Steam Beer, India Pale Ale, American Pale Ale...
It can also be used as a bottle conditioning yeast.

• Alcohol tolerance (% vol): 8,5
• Diacetyl production: Low
• Fermentation kinetics: Fast (4 - 7 days*)
