Silica Sol is a colloidal suspension of silica. It enables the clarification of beer by binding with sensitive proteins in the beer:
• During brewing at the end of the boil, the trub becomes more compact, making it ideal for unfiltered beers or production at over 14°P.
• During lagering, the molecular weight of the proteins coagulated with Silica Sol clarifies and accelerates yeast sedimentation.

20 - 40 g/hL of wort in the boiling vessel
